After vacationing here with my parents from Canada, I knew Daytona Beach was THE place for me, so I packed my little MGA convertible and headed south.

 My experiences after arriving in Florida have been amazing, educational and FUN.   My first job was secretary to the Trust Officer at Florida Bank on Beach St. Then I met and married my husband and we became the owners of the famous FAMILY restaurant “KAY’S COACH HOUSE” on Main St.   Thousands of locals and tourists from everywhere came to eat grandma’s home cooked meals.  In fact, the 1963 founder of Adams Cameron, HELEN ADAMS and her family were regular customers at Kay’s.  Today, I am very proud to work for this trusted FAMILY OWNED Real Estate Company where everyone on their “team” is treated like family too.

When the restaurant closed in 1991, I became a REALTOR and got my “feet wet” with a new concept here on the beach... Timesharing.  The “pressure sale” wasn’t MY style; but the sales experience led me to the West Coast and even Portugal with Mariner Properties.  I was in charge of their in-house Sales/Marketing for Sanibel, Captiva and Marco Island.  No pressure needed when selling our great FLORIDA LIFESTYLE !

 My contractor/ broker husband and I purchased, renovated and converted a rundown Ft. Myers Beach Motel into a condotel (doing all the work and writing the condo docs ourselves) and sold all 18 units in 2 months.  Awesome experience!

After 3 years we came back HOME to Daytona Beach and I was Sales/Marketing Manager for several Daytona Beach/Ormond Beach Home Developers until we retired. After retirement we bought an old Methodist Campground on Charleston Lake, Ontario, Canada spending 5 years to rehabilitate it into  a Bass Fishing Camp with 8 rental cabins .  Since that wasn’t really “retirement” to me, we sold it and came back HOME to beautiful Daytona Beach.  We have 6 children (3 serving in the military) and own a lovely condo ON THE BEACH and I am back working for the BEST REAL ESTATE COMPANY EVER….ADAMS CAMERON!!.
